Dr. Bruce C. Berger is board-certified in Cardiology and Internal Medicine. He has been in clinical practice since 1979. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. He did his internal medicine residency at Lankenau Hospital. Dr. Berger completed his cardiology fellowship at the University of Virginia Medical Center. He specializes in all aspects of clinical cardiology with a specific emphasis on non-invasive cardiology including echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, and stress testing. He is board-certified in Echocardiography and Electrocardiography.
Dr. Berger is currently the Director of Echocardiography at Abington Memorial Hospital and is a past president of the Southeastern Chapter of the American Heart Association. Dr. Berger is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine and is actively involved in the training of medical students, residents, and cardiology fellows.
