Tammy Baker, PA-C
Tammy has been practicing as a Physician Assistant at Abington Medical Specialists since 2005. She is a graduate of Arcadia University with a Master’s of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2004. She obtained her board certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants in 2004 and is a fellow member of the Academy of Physician Assistants, Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants and Society of Invasive Cardiovascular Professionals. Tammy was previously employed as a Physician Assistant in The Heart Center at Doylestown Hospital. She attained her undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education Studies with a minor in Biology, from the University of Delaware. Attended Gwynedd Mercy College completing a certificate program for Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialists and was employed in the Cardiac Catheterization laboratory at Abington Memorial Hospital for many years. She is also an Emergency Medical Technician.
Colleen Suter, CRNP
Colleen has been a nurse practitioner since 2001. She attended the University of Pennsylvania, earning her BSN in 1997 and MSN in 2001. She is certified as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She has worked at Abington Medical Specialists since 2004. Prior to then, she was a nurse practitioner at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, working in the inpatient setting for the Heart Failure/Transplant program. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Collen was a nurse in the cardiac intermediate care unit at Penn. Is also a member of the American Association of Heart Failure Nurses.
Heather Walters, CRNP
Heather joined AMS cardiology in 2019. She attended Neumann University and earned her Master’s in Adult Gerontology/Primary care in May 2017. She earned her Bachelor’s in Nursing from Immaculata University. Prior to joining AMS Cardiology, she briefly worked at Doylestown Cardiology in their device clinic. Before attaining her Nurse Practitioner, she worked at Abington Memorial hospital in the Cardiac/Neuro and Electrophysiology lab for over eleven years. There, she was awarded a monetary patient safety award and was nominated for the Sarah Houck award and a nominee for nursing excellence awards. She has been involved in Cardiac research, to include the first absorbable stent trial and first MRI compatible pacemaker trials. She is a member for the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and PA association of Nurse Practitioners.
Alice Eidenzon, CRNP
Alice joined Abington Medical Specialists in October of 2017 as a new graduate of Thomas Jefferson University with a degree in the Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program and was board certified in November, 2017 through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Alice received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 2012 at Thomas Jefferson University and gained several years of experience as a nurse in the Coronary Care Unit at Einstein Medical Center and subsequently in home and hospice care for cardiac patients at Abington Memorial Hospital. She is also a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
