Dr. Bruce D. Klugherz is a clinical and interventional cardiologist with expertise in coronary and peripheral angiography and endovascular intervention. He is board-certified in cardiovascular diseases and interventional cardiology. After earning his undergraduate degree from Harvard University and his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine, he completed an internship, residency, and fellowships in cardiovascular diseases and interventional cardiology at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center. He is currently the Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Abington Hospital.
Dr. Klugherz is President-Elect of the Medical Staff of Abington Hospital. He has also authored and co-authored abstracts, book chapters, and articles that have been featured in Circulation, the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, and Human Gene Therapy, among other peer-reviewed journals. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
