Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have strictly adhered to this belief while doing everything we can to keep our community safe. As the COVID-19 outbreak has rapidly evolved, so have the restrictions, guidelines, and policies that have been put in place. Because of this, the staff at AMS Cardiology is continuing to monitor and work closely with federal, state and local partners to stay informed with the latest information.
Our offices have implemented several protocols that align with the recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This helps ensure that our patients, staff, community members and physicians are protected. Through these recommendations, we hope to stop the spread of COVID-19 and similar flu-like illnesses.

Here are just some of the steps we continue to take to ensure everyone is safe:
Universal masking – All employees, patients, and visitors must wear a facial covering, regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status.
Social distancing – Social distancing is still strongly encouraged for guests in different households. Limited waiting room capacity with reconfigured seating is established per the CDC recommendation of at least six feet of space between you and others.
Maintaining a hygienic environment – We continue to increase our efforts in cleaning and disinfecting shared spaces, such as the waiting room and patient care areas. Hand sanitizer stations are available for all guests to use and we encourage proper handwashing when applicable.
Visitor policy – To continue to ensure a safe environment, we have instituted a visitor policy with humanity. Our offices will allow one visitor per patient. Exceptions may be made in certain circumstances, please call us to discuss your situation. We ask that if you or your visitor is experiencing flu-like symptoms, please stay home.
