Dr. Adam M. Cohen is a board certified noninvasive cardiologist who has been with Abington Medical Specialists since 2003. He attended Princeton University, where he graduated Cum Laude. After earning his medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, he completed his internal medicine residency at Massachusetts General Hospital – Harvard Medical School. He then trained as a Fellow in Cardiovascular Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a clinical cardiologist with advanced training in echocardiography (transthoracic and transesophageal) and nuclear cardiology/stress testing.
Dr. Cohen has a particular passion for and expertise in the area of cholesterol management and preventive cardiology and is the Director of the Preventive Cardiology and Dyslipidemia Program. He is also the Director of the Drexel University Cardiology Fellowship Training Program at Abington. He has received numerous teaching awards and has been honored as a top cardiologist in Montgomery County publication’s Reader’s Choice Awards. Dr. Cohen is proud to serve as AMS Cardiology’s Managing Partner.
