Dr. Asoka Balaratna is an interventional cardiologist with specialties in Coronary and Peripheral Vascular studies, Stents, and Angioplasties. He is board-certified in Interventional Cardiology and Cardiovascular disease.
His undergraduate training was at Case Western Reserve University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and his medical degree was from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He continued his cardiology fellowship at Case Western and completed his fellowship at Temple University. Dr. Balaratna received his Interventional Cardiology Fellowship with Peripheral Vascular training at Temple University Hospital.
Dr. Asoka Balaratna has received multiple awards and honors in his medical performance, achievements, and community services, including being voted in Philadelphia Magazine’s Top Docs in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015.
