Dr. Abhinav Nair is a board-certified non-invasive cardiologist who joined AMS Cardiology in July 2021. He graduated magna cum laude at the Pennsylvania State University, where he was a member of the Schreyer Honors College and studied Biochemistry & Molecular Biology. Dr Nair earned his medical degree from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians & Surgeons in New York City, and stayed on for residency training at Columbia University Medical Center at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. He completed his cardiology fellowship training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, during which time he served as the Louis R. Dinon Chief Fellow for the program in his second year.
Dr. Nair has advanced training and is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, and Echocardiography. He has a special interest in nuclear cardiology, peripheral vascular disease, and interventions for structural heart disease using trans-esophageal echocardiography. He sees patients in the Abington office.
