Dr. Tudor Sturzoiu is an interventional cardiologist dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based cardiovascular care at AMS Cardiology. He completed advanced fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology and previously completed a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease.
Dr. Sturzoiu earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. Prior to medical school, he earned a Master of Science in Medical Sciences from Boston University and graduated summa cum laude from Rutgers University with degrees in Psychology and Biology.
Throughout his training, Dr. Sturzoiu has developed expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of complex cardiovascular conditions, with a particular interest in interventional cardiology, heart failure management, and advanced cardiac imaging. He is committed to partnering with patients to develop individualized treatment plans that improve both heart health and quality of life.
An active contributor to cardiovascular research, he has co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and scientific presentations on topics including acute coronary syndromes, heart failure, and quality improvement. He has presented his work at national scientific meetings and is published in numerous medical journals.
